French Reading and Writing 1
Are you dissatisfied with your child's French learning? Scared of French? Tired of always getting worksheets and grammar sheets? After you learn at other places, you always make mistakes on how to use the tenses you learned? Take this course, where language learning doesn't have to be as hard as you think.
This course teaches students French using funny stories.Students will learn how to make proper grammatical sentences, through constant repetition of sentence structures. Teachers and fellow peers will be amazed at student's ability to communicate logical ideas with a good mastery of common everyday words.

Reading and Writing 2
This course focuses on writing, with a bit of reading.
Students will learn:
1. Sentence structure
How to connect ideas and form coherent sentences
2. Correct grammar
French Grammar is much more complicated than English grammar
3. Writing in a logical manner (and not as if you were talking)
This is the common mistake of students. For example, instead of writing "He told me that he was like, super good at French", the sentence "He assured me his French skills are remarkable" is clearer and more formal, representative of writing characteristics.
4. How to stop getting "More detail" comments from the teacher
What ideas are important? How do we convey them so that every idea is well supported and explained? You will learn during the course.

French Listening and Speaking
Usually, students have the most trouble in speaking and listening in French class.
This course includes:
- Conversation and presentations
- Audio listening practice
- Dictées (more listening practice)
We start from the very basics of pronunciation, and slowly move to sentence building, then conversations about different topics. At the same time, students will be doing dictées (listening practice) every week.
But students cannot speak or listen well without the required vocabulary. That's why this course's pre-requisite is Reading and Writing 2 (or required level determined by the teacher)

Frequently asked questions
We highly recommend not missing classes. If you miss a class, it's relatively hard to catch up as our classes are accelerated.
That said, we do understand things happen (sickness, vacation, tournaments, etc.).
There are two options to choose from:
You can ask for the recording option, where the teacher will send a recording of the class (Screen + voice). Students will still have access to the homework, worksheets, exit tickets and class notes. You will get 20% of the missed class' fee back as credit with this option.
You can take the credit option. We will take a material fee ($10) for each missed class, and the remaining fee stays in your account as credit. The materials fee gives you access to the homework, worksheets, exit ticket and class notes.
Unlike in school, our students go to the class that is most suitable for them. If they are young, they have most likely passed an assessment test, or been studying with us for a long time and they are fast-tracking classes.
Rest assured, the class is suitable for your child. The teacher will not teach material below the class to suit the younger students.
